About Katy
Before setting up her own coaching and consultancy practice, she spent over 25 years working in leading corporate organisations. She is an experienced Board Level Commercial Director having managed global multi-million-pound businesses and led teams across various industries including consumer goods, retail, construction and food packaging.
She brings expertise in Strategy, Marketing, Branding, Sales and People Leadership and has an MBA from Warwick Business School.
Having been coached and mentored throughout her career she is an advocate of the positive impacts coaching can drive. How it builds confidence; shows a different perspective; promotes understanding and inspires growth.
Through coaching she developed and achieved successes in her career: navigated and led complex situations, managed organisational change and team dynamics, enhanced her leadership skills; and drove her own development and that of her team.
Being coached ultimately led to her becoming a coach by understanding herself, her strengths, values, and motivations. Katy now acts as her clients Thinking Partner, giving them time to think for themselves through open exploration and challenge.
When she’s not working, Katy volunteers as a trustee for Mentor Link, a charity who provide volunteer mentors for vulnerable and distressed children and young adults. You may also find her teaching yoga classes or running in the South Shropshire countryside.
